These priorities were informed
through a consensus building process over the Spring and Summer months
of 2007.
HOME’s Statewide Legislative Priorities Survey was distributed in early
July, 2007. The survey was designed to measure Virginian’s perceptions
and attitudes about housing issues in the Commonwealth. Over
500
Virginians responded.

On August 2, 2007, HOME convened a group of over 30 advocates
representing business, community development, policy, minority,
non-profit,
finance, faith, labor, and others to discuss housing priorities and set
mutual
policy goals in a forum called "Under One Roof".

About the Center for Housing Leadership
HOME’s Center for Housing Leadership was formed in 2006 with a vision of improving housing policy in the Commonwealth. The Center for Housing Leadership creates change in the housing systems that drive economic, educational, and social opportunities.
The Center for Housing Leadership helps shape public policy by leading and providing the following:
