How to Make a Personal Difference
1. Stay Informed

Housing equality is affected by many individual, government, and market forces.

HOME works closely with all the many voices and players in housing issues and can help you stay informed of key developments in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

The most important way to make a personal difference in housing equality is to care about equality and stay aware and informed. To receive HOME's periodic Action Alerts (email and/or mailed) and to receive a notice when a new "This Month in Virginia Housing" is posted (HOME's online monthly update) please click here:

2. Consider Financial Support

HOME greatly appreciates financial support. HOME has four primary sources of funding: individual donations, corporate gifts, support from the Virginia Equal Housing Foundation, and government funding of specific service programs.

HOME seeks to balance these funding sources each year, so that organizational funding is balanced among the many different voices in housing equality.

Please consider supporting equal access to housing for all people in Virginia by making a donation today.

3. Most Importantly, Help Us Spread the Word and Work for Change!

HOME has several ways to make use of volunteers. The first step is always to invite you to HOME's facilities for a morning coffee, where you can learn more about the organization or for you to attend another initial get-to-know-one-another event hosted by HOME.
